I do beleive you can get a connector that is angled, making it possible to fit a standard sized radio

Don't ask me where you get them from, cos I don't know...maybe someone else can answer that.

if that fails you can get a flying lead adapterfor the aerial, this takes less space than a right angle one! or mount the radio cage so it sticks out half inch proud! this is how i fitted mine so icould plugin the phono lead for my amps!!
