sliding door roller

Evening, I'd like to remove the bracket/bearing at the bottom of the sliding door so that I can get in there with the sand blaster before painting. Once the Allen bolts are undone, is the door likely to hang loose, does it need supporting, etc.?
Cheers.

does it need support? oh fkuc yessir it does
heres the easy way.
get an axle stand or something the height of the bottom of the door.
remove slider cover
mark with tape or felt tip the raised bit that allows the middle roller to lift
then position support2 foot out from side of door and about a foot fwd from its rear
then lift door of centre track, take care not to let it drop too much as it will disengage from the upper guide and err
then swing it outward and sit on the block.
i do them like this all the time only takes a few minutes as i need to check alignments when fitting wings and stuff

the door can be removed just by taking the runner cover off and using the convienient gaps vw put in the lower track and runner rail for the bearings to slide off. first the rear hinge then tilt to remove thd bottom rollers. its in the bentley
