auto boxes

Anybody know of any inherent problems to look out for with the auto boxes fitted to caravelles with the 2.1 motor?
Should be smooth changing and engagement... the auto box is very good if not abused... the worst things that can be done is not stopping completely before engaging park/reverse/drive... depending on ehat you are doing... and engaging drive etc with rpms on...
check for clean oil at the right levels.. and no leaks..
