Saab seat tracks, alternate seat swivel

Hi all

Got some nice Saab 93 seats from eBay.

After taking out what look like some old Rover seats from my van, I discover that the Saab seats I have don't seem to match in instructions in the wiki. No matter. As luck would have it the holes and bridging for the old seats done by the vans previous owner match the 93 tracks perfectly. Result.

However.....

Wife wants swivel base on the passenger side at the minimum.

My question is.....

Anyone else used a seat swivel base on the original Saab seat track width? If so what swivel did you go for??

FC

Hi FC, unfortunately i can't help you with your question but there are some swivel bases in the for sale section that were attached to Saab seats if any good:

This is a fasp swivel to fit a 2005 onwards Mercedes vito, I got it from Jennings.
I had to drill a couple of extra holes to make the seats fit but to be honest it wasn't much harder than fitting the seats themselves. There were cheaper alternatives to the fasp swivel but I needed the hole in the middle for the wiring.Image

Wow two awesome replies.

Have PM'd on those swivels. Top tip.

If not I'll go for the Vito one.

This forum is so awesome and so are it members.

Thank you. I only hope one day I can be as helpful.
