F.A.O. anyone with OEM Electric Mirrors

Hi all learned some stuff which may help others if they have problems with non working elctric mirrors
firstly to remove the glass there are latches in the middle of the mirror edges on the longer sides that just need pushing along the length of the glass glas will pop off
then you will see the motor four star screwws its out
good news the motor is not specific to vw t25 i imagine its the same as other vw if not it is exactly the same as BMW e34 five series i bought two over the weekend second hand £5 per pair
dont move the glass with your fingers once replaced as this easily breaks the plastic parts of the motor
