I have a leisuredrive sliding window where the lock isn't really much cop and noticed these wedges on ebay. It would make it harder to force the window open....wouldn't it?

I ended up with one of these

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MACE-Brand-Cl ... 555wt_1161" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

i cut it in half and now have a lock at the top and bottom of the frame.

Cheers
Si

My sliding windows only slide on one side not sure if yours are the same
I have a piece of metal that sits in the inside channel so the window wont move

I also made some vents so when they are fitted i have a shorter piece of metal sitting in the channel
