Dangerous? Fridge vent pipe

Hi Please see image:
Is this dangerous? I'm guessing yes. Though I have been using the fridge on gas and my Carbon Monoxide alarm has not gone off...
Is there a way to fix this without a) replacing the whole pipe and b) removing the fridge - this is something I do not feel confident doing.
Thanks for any thoughts.

You might be able to access it by removing the upper cooling vent if your van has external cooling vents

What is the access like where you took the piccie from?
I changed this pipe on my Westy a couple of years ago and don't think I took the fridge out that time as you can access the pipe through the vent at the side of the kitchen block. On mine the pipe screws to the fridge flue with a self tapper and there is another one where it joins a flange at the body panel. To get to that one I removed the vent cover on the outside and then the three screws holding the flange to the body. Think I found the replacement tubing on ebay.

would it be possible to use that type of pipe to vent the fridge to a hole in the floor, rather than cutting a hole for the flue in the side of the van?

No - hot air rises. You would not get any movement of exhaust gases. Read the manuals for dimensions and fitting criteria.
