After a few months of trawling the internet and numerous phone calls, i finally managed to get hold of a shiny new double crank shaft pulley. Hoorah !!
Ordered from VWHeritage and took nearly 4 weeks to arrive from Germany.

Very shiny :D

My question is this. As you can see the picture below shows my current pulley with the bolts which i do not think are standard ones. Am i correct?
Can't find any alternatives on Brickwerks or Gunzl.

Want to install the new item soon but with the correct bolts, hopefully.
Thanks

do you not need the locking tool to remove the bottom pulley

Not on my one anyway. I have a wobble on the bottom pulley so removed it a while ago for inspection.
I put my foot on the brake whilst brother gave the bolts a quick yank with a bar extension.
There doesn't seem to be an extra hole in the pulley to allow for a locking pin anyway

Never needed a locking tool a quick tap with a FBH is all that is needed.

Thanks Faggie.
If it proves to be difficult this time and a FBH does not shift it, i will try your method. :)
