grinding noise when slowing down

When driving my camper 5spd box it goes through the box really smoothly BUT when I slow down to park with the clutch in there is a grinding sound. This only seems to happen when I am slowing done to car park pace. When i put it into reverse it doesn't sound smoothly in gear but goes in ok, doesn't jump out of any gear.

Does this happen with the van stationary or is it rolling?

So at low speed you hear a grinding noise
Is this when you lightly apply the brakes?
