Spark plug gap T25 2.0 Aircooled CU

Just about to change my plugs

Does anyone know for sure the recommended spark plug gap.

Plugs come set at 7mm but I'm sure I have read somewhere that 6mm is the right figure.

More to the point perhaps does 1mm make any difference anyway i.e about a 25th of an inch

Thanks Ian. Yes of course it is 0.6 not 6mm - I think the heat is getting to me!

Just managed to find the VW instruction manual which came with the van and in the Technical data section it says the following:

Spark plugs for normal operation 2.0 Litre engine

Bosch W8C (Incidentally I have the box in front of me and these come gapped at 0.7mm)
Beru 14-8C
Champion N7

Spark plugs for heavy duty operation (above 25deg C) - you never know

Bosch W7C
Beru 14-7C

Electrode gap (for all the above plugs) (mm) 0.6 to 0.7
