I know Paul got lucky acting on a tip off with that 16" High Top Westy and I got lucky acting on a tip off and getting my Westy at a car auction for £1600 but when you think that, "mmm yeh but that wont happen again" they still keep cropping up now and again. I have found another two that I am trying to buy at the moment and I just spoke with a fella outside 80-90 from Ireland who has bought a Syncro panel van that has been dry stored for 11 years

That pick up that was on that scrap heap near Pete and that Tristar that has been sat down The Witterings for ages that Neil just chopped up, that 16" RHD Doka in a feild that Jake was trying to buy for years before it went breasticles up

Its amazing really that you think you know where most of them are and then one crops up on Ebay

Its mad isn't it I wonder when and where the next good find will happen?

I love it me working all over the place in The Golden Triangle hoping to get lucky

There are loads of my customers here who have absolutely zero interest in 80-90.
There's even one in the village where the workshop is, our paths have never crossed...

White Syncro panel van occasionally seen in Bristol for many years owned by the local authority highways department; once spoke to the driver who said it was his baby and if it went he would go too. Dont know where its gone or if its still in the job but it has not surfaced anywhere else to my knowledge. Also a 16" homebrew camper just around the corner; owner has never been on 80-90 or has any intention to; 'not his scene' apparently.

There out there !

Nice that Jason... :ok
I know where ther is a panel van thats been stood for at least 4 years.. full of boxes..
I havent bothered to leave a note as i expect they have been harrased many times if they want to sell..

Or maybe not.....

I'll assume its got a dead engine or box.. but its fairly solid b the looks of it.. a close inspection needed...

Maybe I should pop by and leave that note..

Maybe for its first 15 years or so it was "salty wet with damp mud stored"?

Most likely! It was used in Scotland by the army.
