Could someone please point me in the direction of a tyre load chart?
Seen these wheels and the guy says they are 580kg so I am not sure they are man enough?

Thanks.

Hi,
if you are stopped (Police /Vosa) they will look at your Gross weight and divide it by 4 to see if the tyres are suitable, the Gross/MAM of our vans ranges between 2390kg and 2460kg depending on engine so the tyres would have to cope with 597.5kg or 615kg per corner.
Im not sure Ive seen such a chart that lists all the weights, at work we just have to check with the manufacturers if we cant see the tyre.
Hope that helps.
Cheers
Si

Tis also different front to back.
1200Kg front
1300Kg rear
So 2500Kg total but the backs need to be rated at 650Kg or over (same goes for the tyres) which normally means (a rating of 97 or higher)
Plus 185 65 R14 tyres are a fair bit smaller diameter than standard meaning you engine will rev higher and the speedo will be as much as 20% over reading. (10% standard over read plus about 9% smaller diameter so will turn faster)

I know you're fond of stating a 97 or higher load rating for tyres Martin but you've contradicted yourself a bit there by saying the rears need to be at least 650kg as that is only 93 load rating?
Totally agree with the rest of your reply though.
