hi. does any one know if a 2.1watercooled engine has a relay. As my fan stays on the fastest setting it has. The fan switch is new 3 months ago and has never reached top speed

if Mr B says he has never seen a van with a single speed fan than yes you will have one for stage 2

it is numbered 53 on the relay/fuse box plate

not sure what you mean by stays on fastest setting, is it stuck on?

if so maybe a chicken switch has been fitted before?

Thanks i'll have a look for that one. I've taken the fuse out as it stays on stage 2. Also i have 3 switches which are coloured red, white, green. Can any one tell what these are for. As I've never seen these on any thing else. Sorry should have said, there on the dash above the head light switch

well they don't sound origional so you will need to trace the wires to where they go into the origional wiring, if you do post up the wire colours they connect to and some pics and I'm sure we can work it out.

or just use the childish method of trial and error.

be careful removing the fuse, Haynes shows it as a 30A powering both stages so if it's correct and you remove it you will have no fan at all.
