Call's AA and waits 4 hours on the friday before bank holiday - got to wave at lots of other campers though
So I get it home and start digging about - engine won't turn..
Damn

looks like I hit something

from the top of the crank case

Think that's the con rod its even punctured the coolant manafold for good measure

Indeed - scraping together the money for a new Lump - need to get it in for Le Mans
then I think - if I can I'll build a forged one - It'll be good for 600bhp then

warranty on the gearbox expires in a week's time I think, not sure I'd warrant it for 600bhp
did you win the lsd ?

Ha ha - no problems Aiden, I seriously doubt I'd go as far as 600bhp, but a steady 300 I'd be happy as larry
Gear box is still running lovely by the way
I didn't win the LSD - I've got other things to be saving for at the moment

Getting a bit of clutch slip when launching through 2nd - so I thnk an upgrade there might be good - with any luck I'll get one with the engine

switch is fitted to the box iirc, you just need to wire it to a tell tell lamp on the dash in a very unmissable place
two pin switch above and behind the bracket for the vacuum unit

I've had a few bits from scooby leicester on ebay, seem very good, machined turbo flywheel was excellent and only £50
generally good prices
