Hi, The damned exhaust studs snapped taking the exhaust off. Do i really need to take the whole the engine out to remove the cylinder head to drill out the studs or is it possible to remove the head with the engine in? haynes says theoretically yes as long as the liner doesn't come out.
whats the reality? anyone done this "in situ"
:run

Engine out = Yes, but don't take the head off = opens a right can of worms on these motors
