Hi all,

Have bought Just Kampers halogen upgrade bulbs for my 1987 T25 Autohomes Komet. Is this just a case of changing the bulbs or do I need to start thinking about the wiring or a relay:?:

Thanks

Just change the bulbs. You really need to worry when you start using the outrageously bright ones (most of which are not road legal anyway).

Er...
If you have non H4 headlamps, the halogen "upgrades" wont help much the pattern of the non H4 lamps is .... crap... (H4 will be very evident on the centre of the glass of the headlamp)

Better off getting a set of H4 headlamps and fitting them... then consider a relay kit from Brickwerks, as the std setup isnt very good at handling power... the relay kits make a hell of a difference to the H4 set up, by allowing full voltage to the bulbs...

I've fitted a relay kit from Simon and it does make a big difference.

I need to take the kit down from the website, I have stopped doing them, I got bored of reading such threads and people telling me how much of a rip off my kits were.
If truth be known, by the time I had bought everything in, and sat there making them I think I would struggle to break even on them.

So, apparently it's really easy to upgrade to relays...

If you have the money your better off spending £300 on some HID headlamps if you really want to see where you are going. I can supply and fit these at my garage, I won't supply only as they are expensive and I can't afford to stand the cost of a bulb when someone messes with it and returns it as faulty when they messed it up in the first place!

So, HID, if you want them then £330 fitted, thats a 6000k dip and main kit suitable for round or rectangular headlamps.
