Hi all,

Can anyone confirm that the wheels off a 1968 bay window type 2 camper will fit mt 1989 T25 Vanagon Aztec camper?

I've seen a set for sale locally, good typres and hubs for a decent price, but as I'm new to all things VW, I wnat to be certain they fit. I've asked the seller but he's unsurer, stating "DONT KNOW IF THEY'LL FIT A T3, THEY HAVe A LARGE 5 STUD PATTERN."

Any advice appreciated.

Mark

Don't think they will. The older VW had a much larger spacing between studs

BiC,
I hate to disagree with OLD ONE, but my '73 Bay window wheels are identical with the T25, and I reckon the '68 will be the same. If the vendor measures between the centres of two adjacent stud holes it should be 65 to 66 mm (difficult to measure accurately) giving a PCD of 112 mm. Wheels are 5 1/2 J X 14.
Let us know for future reference.

listen up,early transporters 68-71 have large stud, later transporters 71-78 have small 5 stud and will fit T3,so the answer is no,68 wheels wont fit your T3,cj.

Sorry BiC, OLD ONE,

Thanks for clearing that up cj.
So the PCD is different. :?:

I'm fine OLD ONE, been really busy with the patch of ground that I cleared the trees from. All turned over (By hand) and about a dozen barrow loads of well rotted horse dung dug in. Hope to grow veg. again next year.

Hows things with you?
Cheers.
