Ignored the dismal weather forecasts ( and numerous warnings about bike thieves! ) and went to Ferry Meadows (Peterborough) for the weekend!



Ice cream man turned up!



And Nene Valley Railway has a station just outside so promised The Boy a ride on a Steam Train only to find it was the Diesel Gala! Still had a trip though!



Another successful weekend me thinks!!

That takes me back!
My grandparents lived in Peterborough, I used to go to Ferry Meadows all the time.

They used to do a good firework display.

Looks like the boy enjoyed it!
