Hi ,The last time i took my car out the water pipe from pump exploded when i replaced this i then noticed oil in the water which i think means the head gasget is leaking . I think this would be a good time to convert my engine to a 1.9 AAZ if there is any one who can help me with this.
I live in Banbury oxfordshire.

David, there are some good threads on here to help. Brickwerks can supply all the bits you need and have a checklist to help you through. I got my replacement engine online from a dismantler and asked them to leave the Turbo on. I used the old jx turbo in the end and got it reconditioned at midland turbos. Good luck Vandad

Make sure it is the head gasket first... it could just be the oil cooler thing that the oil filter screws onto.they can leak oil into the coolant.
Are the pipes pressuring up more than normal now you replaced the pipe ?
