Turbo off in about an hour - Halfords Shock and Unlock???

No problem here, well apart from the exhaust being welded to the turbo studs....

Just wanted to see if anyone else has used this and if I was just lucky. I'd set myself up for a bit of a fight with the turbo. Tried a few bolts but they weren't shifting so got them red hot with Map Gas and tried again, nothing. Give them all a good blasting with Shock and Unlock and they slowly started to shift.

Anyone else tried this stuff, not heard about it till yesterday, normally just use Plus Gas?

I have used it, often in conjunction with heat (heat first, then spray the stud / bolt with the freezing "Shock and Unlock") A good soak in PlusGas a few times before starting work pays dividends too

I have used electronic component freezer spray in conjunction with heat and lubricant - presumably this is the same type of thing.
