twin headlights(round ones)

Was tempted to fit a set of round twin headlights on my 88 van. It was originally a bog standard panel van.
I have got the plastic twin grille, and also a pair of used headlights from another member last year.
When I have offered the lights up, the inner headlight on the driver's side fouls on the bodywork, leaving it proud.
Have I got the wrong sort of lamp, or is the bodywork not designed to take a twin set up?

I think the inner lamps were smaller ...more of an auxilliary lamp was it a JK Grill?

I got the JK grill and the inside lamps are smaller. I just bought a panel van with all fitted and after getting home realised that the inner lamps not wired up - so will have to wire myself. But I can confirm they are smaller
