Can Anyone Recommend a Garage in North Wales?

I'm in Desperate need of a Vw T25 friendly Garage in North Wales. Somewhere that doesn't tell me to get rid of her. One look and its ''Oh I've got a pet hate of those vans''. I've had my van for 11 years and the biggest problem in that time is finding a willing and able Garage/Mechanic. I eventually found a great one when I lived down south- Chris Cross Motors North London. But then I moved. Yes there's AVW Caernarfon But I haven't had very good experiences there. And I've been a few time. Please help. I don't want to part with my Dear Van. Thank You

Thanks very much for that. Little bit of a trek from Anglesey. But does sound worth it. I'll give him a bell. Thanks for your quick replies.

Faenol Garage in Kinmel Bay, although he's just a 1 man band in an industrial unit he's a VW nut & has owned various T's, he's currently restoring a bay & seems to know his stuff

Thanks Bamba 'VW nut' sounds like the man of my dreams! She booked in with Steve at Gasure. Just have to wait a bit. She keeps blowing water pipes off. Following a bit of research on here, and on the off chance have ordered a new Darlek cap from Brickwerks just in case its something as simple as that. But a visit to steve's is needed as she's been in the hands of some very uncaring garages for the last few years. And needs a knowing eye and a bit of TLC to get her on track.
Thanks All
Abbie

I know this is a very old thread but I was wondering if there were any updates to this? Did you (OP) visit any other garage? Are there any other recommendations?

I recently bought a T25 (1982, Aircooled, hightop, LPG conversion) and am looking for a friendly garage in N. Wales. I'm in the Llandudno/Conwy area.

I'm thinking of calling in on Faenol Garage - I like the idea of a one man VW nut. May have to do the trek to Chester though, since I have an LPG conversion.

Why not just heed the original advice and visit Gasure?

Scores of people have used Steve.

The only reason is that I'd like to find a closer garage - It'll make visiting the garage easier to fit around work.
