Depends upon whether you need the heat in the back or not.

i turn mine off in summer and back on in winter. That way in the summer you can use it to circulate air around the van

there is a switch to knock it on and of up the front
seems pointless to have another under the chair

the switch on the dash turns the fan on, the lever on the unit stops coolant circulating around the core. Exactly the same as the front heater. (lever and fan switch) in the summer surely you turn the lever to off on the front heater so you can use the fan to cool the van?

i hadnt realised there was a switch for it up front were would i find such a unit
