Hi all.
I currently have the caravelle seats fitted to my t25. I was wondering how easy they are to remove and what alternative seats would fit with no/minimum mesiing about....? I know saab seas fit, but the van requires some drilling,

Any help would be appreciated!!
Cheers

Look in the modified section. I have to say though, Caravelle seats are comfy even on long journeys. If they're looking tired, take them apart, replicate the sections and stitch new ones or get them recovered by someone if its not your thing. Seat swaps take some thinking about as most car seats are designed for the person sitting to be moderately reclined where van seats are set up for a more or less upright position.

Thanks,
I was considering getting someone to have a go at doing it for me... I was only posing the question since it would be cheaper than to pay for reupholstery!

And you're right... Those seats are bloomin comfy!

I have just fitted Saab 9-5 seats on Saturday to my camper. Quite an easy fit and ultra comfy, worth some consideration!

And yet some don't advocate Saab seats. To be honest, if you've got Caravelle seats, hang on to them. You CAN do them yourself by completely stripping them down, unpicking the stitching and using the pieces as templates to cut out your new material. If you're not keen to attempt it (and I bought a s/h sewing machine specifically for doing this job), find a local seamstress in the neighbourhood who would be willing to do it at a price. There are a LOT of people who can sew and many great vids on youtube showing you how its done. Its not a gender specific hobby these days thankfully.

If you need encouragement, find a place near you that does nothing but fabrics, have a browse and you'll find a great deal of possibilities :D
