Hi all,

I am going to my daughters wedding in York on Saturday. I want to stay in the camper on Friday night and remembered that nice pub near York that some 80-90 members sometimes have a "mini meet" at, but I cannot remember it's name or the village it is in. I can remember it is not far from York Raceway, where they do drag racing.

Anyone ?

p.s. = Off to the Pikey meet as soon as I can get away on Saturday, early evening ;)

There's the Danby Whiske meet, but it's not near the Raceway. It's about 30 miles from York. What are you looking for in a site. Very basic? You have pm.

You have reply to p.m.

Nah it's not that one, Gill thinks it might have been the White (or Black) Horse (but she could easily be wrong). We went to 2 "meets" there, and very very good they were. We bought our Porta Potti off someone there. Ah, memories are made of such stuff

Some one will be along soon that knows, if not I will just find a rural pub and ask if I can stay in the car park ;)
