When together they allow current to flow, when apart they don't.

Never say never but I'm fairly sure you'll not blow anything up by putting back to their rightful condition (that which VW hath joined let no man tear asunder). Altho, as with most things electrical on a vehcile, prob best to make sure engine is off and key out of ignition before making the sparks fly!

it depends what it's connected to....

but you didn't show that..

and were not physic.. :D

it might not even be something VW put there.. these vans are old ..things happen

currants occur in buns
current is the flow of electrons from a + ve potential to a - ve through a conductive medium
Electric charge flows when there is voltage present across a conductor.

You need to look at the downloadable manual in members Only and/or buy a Haynes, posting riddles will eventually lose it's mysteriously challenging draw ... even for Kev  :rofl
