Mine is leaking a smidge...would re seal if a set of seals is available from somewhere...but where is the question?

Anyone have a link?

Can see where you're coming from but its one of those parts where its quicker and simpler to just change the whole unit - in line with the 'modern' approach by the parts supply chain to sell us all 'units'.

Just buy a new one.. Cheap as chips

and other suppliers where prudent.

JK used to sell the seal kit for them about £7, I did one, it went on Grumps' van, he never complained so I guess it worked ok, but it was a very good core and of all the slave cylinders that have ever come to me on gearboxes I reckon only 1 in 10 were salvageable, all corroded in the bores and pitted from old contaminated fluid
gsf supplied one is ok too with the good pushrod design

I looked into getting the seals .... they are a special 'V-lip seal' apparently and wouldn't have been viable to buy compared to the cost of a replacement cylinder. As Aidan say's most of the bores are pitted or worse anyway.

I concur with the chaps above and for the price of them, you may as well just replace for new. I had a little leak from mine and ordered a new one from Brickwerks yesterday.

Buy the seal kit and a new cylinder, put the new one on your van and refurb the old one and sell it.....recycling and reliabality in one go.

Throw away society for consumer goods.But brake&clutch master cylinders diffrent ball game.Remember years ago replacing brake master cylinder & slave seals on 60 70s cars .Pitting and scoring was evident used wire wool to clean internals up then re sealed with a kit..Some leaked fluid if the bores where to worn or pitted.Not worth the hassle for the price of a new master brake or clutch cylinder for a T25

Oh yes, I remember all too well trying to work out which was the wedge-shaped seal in the Caliper Rebuild Set (Escort/Crapi/Cortina/Granada '72>'82)

I have a cylinder hone set...I can handle the "hassle" and I would seal the cylinder if I could get the seals...if the bore is no good then that's fine...so...can anyone point me in the direction of a seal kit?
