Hi there, we've recently bought a T25 and the electrolux fridge doesn't work. We're looking to get it serviced/checked out to see if it is salvagable - does anyone have a recommendation for where I could take it? I'm based in Southampton so somewhere in Hampshire or along the south coast would be best. Thanks in advance.

Does it not work in any capacity? I.e. gas, mains or 12v?

My fridge only comes on on 12v when the van is in motion and started.

Hi, also have a T25 and live near Southampton. I've tried looking around, but have not found a local place to give the fridge a good service. Ashbridge Domestic in Kent are good, but that's quite a trek from our neck of the woods. Hopefully someone will come back with a recommendation ....

I'm wondering what you're expecting from a "service"?

Most caravan dealers will service a fridge.
In that, the fridge comes out and the burner is swept with a paintbrush.
that's about it with an absorption fridge.

If you're having problems with it, tell us here.
if you have a nice little blue flame then it's working very well

what doesn't work?
These fridges are silent and have no moving parts.
They take an hour to get cold.
They do not work off the battery directly... if they did it wouldn't last long
