Lady V had a similar problem with 4th on her van, once she was in 4th she couldnt get out until she came to a complete stop and even then sometimes only stalling it would knock it out of gear. We had a look but had to change gearboxes to solve it as the problem was internal to the gearbox.

I think they plan to dismantle the old one to work out what was up and maybe recon it but sounds very similar.

Not sure if its the same however as it could be the linkages?

Wheres tbe best place to get a gearbox?

Going down hill if I put my foot on the clutch it feels like the gear is still in use, if I blip the accelerator you can feel her pull a little. It kinda feels like the clutch isnt fully engaged or I need to put my foot down further on the pedal.

Any ideas thoughts please

spigot bearing probably, worse when hot ?
might as well do the clutch while you are in there
and change the gearbox oil if you haven't done it in living memory and see what the drain plug magnet has to say about overall state of the box and ensure the oil level is correct
