Sometimes starts other times doesn't, not an earth problem

Hi, I wondered if anyone can help. Our T25 sometimes turns over fine and other times doesn't. At the moment it's completely on the blink. The battery's fine (obviously) and all the Earth wires fine( including starter wire) just fitted a new starter motor thinking it was that but it's not

The mechanic seems to think it could now be a fault between the ignition and starter. Has anyone else had this trouble? If so and your able highlight the area that needs looking at, I would really appreciate your help

Given what you have already done....two things spring to mind:
1. The small spade feed to the solenoid...obviously it's 'been off' but the wire it'self can corroded internally and has to be cut back to a good section and another spade connection crimped on the end (if you have enought wire).
2. The ignition switch is faulty...again, very common. A new replacement costs about a tenner but fitting it does require a partial steering column strip down.

Thanks for replying, I've passed on the info to my mechanic and apparently we have a 12v ignition feed but I'm sure he'll now check the spade feed you suggested.
Thanks again!
