Intercooler for a 1.6TD

Not so much an engine change, but can somebody tell me, can I fit an intercooler to my 1.6TD and if so is it worth it, does it make much of a difference, and has anybody done this, and any advice on hoses and source of intercooler and mounting details. Somebody told me Diamondhell may have done this?
