Van in for gas test - gulp

After rebuilding the interior and replumbing the gas consumables, then checking them, I've taken it to be tested. Don't want to kill myself. Unintentionally, anyway.
However, when dropping it off and talking the guy through it all, he said there should be drop holes under pretty much everything. There was already one in the gas cylinder cupboard, but all over the floor?! Christ, it would look Luke swiss cheese.
Elf n safety, you see?
But as these vans were converted 20 odd years ago, is it reasonable to expect us to go round putting more drop holes in?
Well, I've left it with him. Let's see if he condemns it.
