Hi there,
I have read a few threads on the subject but still can't make my mind up what to use.
I have been looking at fatmat which would solve both sound and insulation but is it going to be a pain to remove if you need to do some body work? And is it good and insulating.

Or do I go for the foil back bubble rap stuff from b&q but some people seem to think it doesn't make no difference and it doesn't have much sound deadening does it?

What do people recommend for a cheapish solution ?

There's a big piece on this in the Wiki, and there are a number of threads on the same subject in this 'Campers' forum. The opinions are wide and varied. There are even those who claim that attempting heat insulation is a waste of time - too many gaps. But hey ho, you pays your money, etc.....

I was pondering over this last weekend. Sitting nice and cosy in the van is all well and good, but you have only to open the slider and whoosh! - all your warm air is gone. Insulation won't keep it in.
