Cant see anything on there, I need a full beam bulb and have struggled to find one.

Well the full beam bulb is just a 12v bulb popped into a dark blue plastic shell. Most seem to swap it for an LED and resistor now as it lasts longer.

Howdy,
Does the main beam indicator bulb blow regularly?
My mainbeam works fine, just no dash warning light!
Cheers

Well its a tungsten bulb, not an LED so its lifespan is not as great. I can't see the point in fitting the same (at greater cost) when LEDs outlast tungsten by many, many years and are so cheap now. VW didn't fit a blue LED because blue ones didn't exist then, simple as that. Chances are, yes its blown.
