Outside chance, the fusible link has fractured and touching sometime, not others ???
OK, a very outside chance

but have you run a voltmeter across it and moved the wiring a round in the box - it's very tightly packed so watch for shorting in there

If all or most of the glow plugs are dead, you won't get a yellow light.
They're cheap new so if you find you have a few down, you might buy a set of 4 rather than just taking one out and connecting it up to see if it works... it'll prob die soon anyway!
Oh, some of them are a real sod to get out... take your time and have lots of cups of tea

Thanks for the help chaps,I think its the temp sensor as when disconnected the yellow light comes back on and all seems fine, also It works fine first thing, but after a minute or two of the engine running the light fails to come back on.
hope they are cheap to replace....
any ideas where to get one from,
also is it worth getting a second hand one or go for new...
many thanks lhd................

GSF - £25/set
The AA man the other day used what he called a 'quick and dirty check' for glowplugs and as it hgappens got it right, he found No.3 was dudd
He just sparked a wire from the battery pos to the central conductor of the glow plug - if it sparks then its OK. Quite how this works when they're all connected together as they are with the feed strap I dunno, but replaced No.3 and then checked the old one - open circuit!
