Engine bay insulation

Evening all.
I had my engine bay blast cleaned (no engine g/box etc fitted don't worry) and while I was stripping it out the insulation fell to pieces.
I cant really find anything that looks that great. Ive seen a few old posts that say 'talk to steve at noise busters' and all I can find online is a small garage and some snazzy ear defenders but no steve!
Has anyone found something decent? The only stuff ive found is £58 but to be fair it looks quite good on a website I get some bits from
http://www.sealsdirect.co.uk/shopping.a ... entId=9#61

Bit of hassle but well worth doing to properly treat the rust on chassis beams and engine bay!

Thanks.

(yes I know blast cleaning means lots of new wheel bearings and rubbers etc so please don't remind me. Having the whole van done soon too.)

presume you have a diesel?

the insulation was only fitted to 'some' diesel vans , probably passenger carrying , along with the engine under tray, so not many will know what your on about , if your on about what I am on about!

get down your local scrappy and cut some out of another vehicle.

the original stuff is basically compressed/glues foam pieces in nicely cut shapes about 1 inch thick

It's very similar to the modern carpet underlay
