Rear wheel bearing removal

Hi all, I am trying to remove the old bearings ready for new. I think I have got everything out of the carrier apart from one part of one bearing.
Does anybody, by any chance, have a picture of the inside of a bearing carrier please? (without bearings pressed in)
Also, does the end of the carrier look OK? Seems like a lot of metal rusted away and worn down!
Here are a few photos, feel free to let me know what you think.
Thanks, Jon.

poke your finger in with a bit of clothe and clean the crap of the rear of the outer race (the bit thats left in) and if you look you will see semi circular cut outs in the main casting, this allows you to use a drift/punch to the back of the bearing and tap it out

Maybe somebody could tell me, if once the inside of the carrier is empty (bearings and spacer removed) is it a straight cylinder? Or are there ridges that the bearings sit against? Thanks, Jon.

Thanks mike. Think a longer drift is needed if I am to continue Jon.

Well this looks a lot better after a few hours in a parts bath and a good scrub with a wire brush. Getting the bearing out next time will be easier now I know what the inside looks like. Jon.

Nah, cos by the time theres a 'next time' you'll have long forgotten, as most of us do.
