eberspacher b1l c mounting

hi all
I just purchased a eber yay but looking at mounting under the rock and roll seat, I see I need a special tool is says in the manual but cant find on ebay, does it have a different or special name

Mount it on a plate, you can then seal the plate with a polyurethane sealant over the floor. Like these

just had a look and that makes sense
also can I ask if I need to have a pipe on the inlet as well as the out let for the hot air, im installing under the rr seat and I have one pipe that goes onto the warm air outlet with direction nozzle but just wondering do I need to put one on the intake air to pull it from the cab area or will it be ok pulling air from under the seat

It depends upon how airtight your seatbox is, mine has holes in the end so that air is drawn in that way. If it is fairly airtight you could just put an unhosed vent in or connect it with a hose.

also should it run at differnet speeds seems to be on high all the time and it gets really hot
running a rheostat

It can take up to 10 minutes for you to notice a drop in heat output using a rheostat.
