Hello.
When fitting spacers to alloy wheels do you fit ones with the same size centre bore as the wheel you are fitting or would any do as long as its smaller ?
Thankyou.

Spacers dont have centre bores they just fit over the stud

Depends on which alloys you are thinking of fitting and the thickness of the spacer required as some are hubcentric and have a 57mm or 66mm centre bore?
If fitting 15mm or thicker spacers I would always fit hubcentric ones.
The generic slot over the stud ones tend to have a centre bore larger than 66mm.

I agree with Steve...hub centric are dearer but reduces he strain on the studs....dearer but better.

The alloys are merc W211 E class. From what i have read on here most people seem to have gone 20 mm on back and 10 on front, but seem to catch on full lock.So was thinking of goin for 15mm on front. Et of wheel is 42 bringing front down to 27 which i have read is abit low. Any advice on what to use is very much appreciated.
Thanks.
