				Fridge advice please...

First post on here, so go easy on me

Right then... Got hold of a lovely T-25 (1984) MKI pop-top back in January. We've been brushing snow off it ever since!!! Only just really started to have a play around, and we're having a few fridge problems. It's fitted with an Electrolux RM-122B 3-way fridge and we're struggling to get the thing to work. A lack of instruction manual isn't helping and I can't seem to find a download for the 'B' version. Also, the inside of the fridge is missing it's thermostat-dial, so I'm not sure if that will effect running the fridge off 12V or 220V??? The 3-way dial on the front also has no indication as to which way it should point (apart from a tiny cut-out on the bottom of the fridge) to select gas, mains or off. We've had the gas lit ok, but our drive-way may not be level enough to get the fridge to kick off ok... So there you go. Lot's of questions there

According to the dealer our fridge worked fine...
If anyone has a RM-122B and could help, that would be lovely... Or any clue as to where we could pick up spares & a manual???
Thanks

Thanks Jeff... Unfortunately there's nothing on Wiki relating to the RM-122B. The Electrolux download site also has no mention of the RM-122B. I've even spoken to someone at Dometic who stock old fridge spares and again nothing for the RM-122B... So it looks like second-hand is my only option.

I'd have thought there wouldn't be too many differences in the B model. Have you had a look at the RM122 to ser if.most.of the info matches your fridge? I seen a couple of fridge dials on eBay recently

				Thanks matey... Much appreciated.
I've done that much trawling around I could probably enter Mastermind on the history or RM fridges

Tip it upside-down seems to be the magic cure

				I thought the RM122 was 2 way (gas/12v) and the RM123 was 3 way...?

There was an optional extra to add 250v to the 122.

To be honest I'm still a little unsure as to what I've got inside??? It's labelled as a RM122-B. It has a 3 way dial to the bottom right of the fridge which I've not seen on any other fridge on the internet (still not sure which way the dial should point either???). It appears to have a missing thermostat dial inside the back of the fridge, but I've no real clue whether it originally had one or not???
Our bus is parked on a rather un-level drive at the moment. When the levelling blocks have arrived I'll let you all know how it works

My RM122 has a dial inside, to adjust the "coldness" (is that a word lol), just like a household refrigerator. But whatever it's set at, the fridge should still do something

With the amount you have read you will probably know this. Will only work on 12v with ignition in and when starter batter is charged up so I.e. should work with ignition on. Check fuse in line for 12v operation. Check for blue flame through peek a boo hole in lower lhs when on gas. Agree that it may help to turn upside down or simply drop from a great height. There are links on the wiki I think to suppliers of elements if not quick seach and almost certainly a YouTube vid of how to install!

450 metres should do it!
