Hi,
Is it possible to raise the stock steering wheel on a T25? I don't want to change it for an aftermarket one, just raise it to give me a bit more leg room as I am a bit lanky! Is there a boss that I can use?

Is the seat fully back as far as it can go
Are they original VW seats

No, they are not original seats, they are Saab seats and are fully back, they have to be! I also removed the raising mechanism from the seats when I installed them. Just wondered if there was some sort of boss that could raise the wheel so it was easier to get my legs under it.

Its your seats, I fitted SAAB ones in mine and now my legs brush the steering wheel.
There a couple of ways you can solve it, one put original seats in?? or I believe that MR2 seats fit quite well and are not as raised as SAAB ones. The other option is get smaller diameter steering wheel, but then your steering will be really heavy??
Hope that helps

A pair of nice Velle captain's seats will remedy the situation

If you fit a large spline wheel with a spline adapter it raises the wheel 8 mm. You will have to make an adapter ring for the self cancel though.
