westy roof canvas fitment problem

Just spent six hours fitting a jk roof canvas fits at front and back but really short at each side fitted one side but cant even push the roof to its lock or the canvas will rip at the top screws nightmare took it all of and looks about 40mm short in the centre anyone had the same problem with these?

That's strange. As it probably has to come off anyway, I'd lay it on the ground and compare size with the old one. It wouldn't be an early instead of a late, or vice versa would it? Not sure if they're physically different sizes or not...

Yea when u lay the new one on top there is about 40mm in it so will check with jk and see if there there is another one or maybe go for the more expensive german one should have gone for that one first time!

Saying that... I've been tempted by the really cheap £150 ones on eBay... half the price of a decent one... but it's probably asking for trouble

Hi got a german replacment from jk great fit only took three hours and good quality.

Glad you got it sorted.
If I buy one from JK... theyll probably send me your old one that doesn't fit! lol
