One less!

Disaster
Some numty decided that he didnt need to give way at the roundabout, and thought he'd use our van as a bumper target!. In the resulting "fun" the nearside rear wheel was stove in, the offside torn off and the poor old girl toppled on to her side. No one was hurt but the van will not see the road again! No doubt the insurance payout will not be sufficient to replace her so it looks like we may be going back to 2wd, After 15 years with the poor old thing its a bit of a wrench to see her go this way,
Anyway as per the heading, one less for the how many left list.

Thats local, buy it back, strip the 4x4 system off and build it into your new van ?
Otherwise us vultures will have it for spares.
Hope you can rebuild it !
Cheers
Rich

If they are giving you the van back and you don't want it, I can probably squeeze it on my drive...
Really hope you get the money you want for it though, did you have agreed value?

by the sound of damage incurred then i reckon it will more than likely be classed as an insurance category b break only. if it goes that way ill keep an eye out on the salvage sites.

It's still you property don't forget...you have right to have it repaired or replaced as the other party damaged it...don't settle for £50 and and they claim your van.

they use the term market value which is usually glasses guide ect. trouble is our vans are not in there so print off loads of for sale adverts of similar vans. get valuation done ect. fight for a good value pay out.

True. Demand that it be repaired to the standard that it was before the accident.
