i think i need some advice about a set of penta's

hi all
right then, i bought a set of four penta's from vanfest for my t25 with a good set of 195/60 R15's on i think the alloys are 15" but measuring across i get 16 1/2"?? the tyres are also marked R16 futher round the tyre.
as usual it was, what i thougt, a clever impulse buy killing two birds with one stone (i need a set of tyres for my mot, and ive been after some alloys for a while)
after realizing that i was gonna have to fit longer studs etc i also realized that my spare (the same as all my present tyres) is a standard steely with a 185 (theres no profile number on the tyre theyre michelain mx's) R14 and hence will cobble the mot.
Questions........
1. if i fit a matching (195/60 R15) tyre (i presume you can do this) to the spare steel wheel would it pass the mot?
2. am i right in thinking that its gonna cost me about £100 to buy and have someone fit the studs etc?
3. will this increase in tyre size be ok? (without the profile number i cant check on the tyre calculators)
4. if i decide iv cocked up does anyone know what theyre worth? the tyres have only had about 1000miles on em (so i was told, there is loads of tread, nearly new!) i payed £200 does that sound about right.
im gettin stressed about this iv been without the van now for about 3 weeks and its gettin to me, so any advice would be great, sorry if this has been answered elsewhere, i did search first.
many thanks
chris
