T25 Fuel problem

Hello, had my 1981 T25 Aircooled garaged over the winter, got it back on the road and its pretty chuggy but worse I'm getting about 12 miles to the gallon. Not sure if I have a leak or it just needs servicing but I had a guy out last year who lives in the stockton area who only deals in air cooled, does anyone have a number for him or signpost me to a decent garage?
Thanks

Hi Jonathonck,

I live in Hartlepool too and am having a bit of a nightmare finding 'specialists' locally... I do however have a couple of guys that do work for me on a regular basis. (Though mine is water cooled not air)
I can recommend Paul Clark at Clark Auto 01429 231707 (Behind Tones Renault) and Bob Addison 07830136804 over near Tesco
Tell them Ru (Rupert) sent you.

Hope to see you on the roads!

Ru

Good to hear!

Was it you we saw and waved to en-route to Seaton on the weekend?

Was this the blue T25? If so then yes!
I'll be at the classic car show on the marina this coming Sunday if you're about.
Regards.

Petrol goes 'off' and loses it vavavroom, If you absolutely must take it off the road then do so with minimal fuel in it and top it right up with fresh to start it up again.

Best way is just keep the old girl running ... they HATE being parked up.
