On my MOT I got an advisory that there was play in the LH rear wheel bearing. Any ideas how much of a job they are to change? Can they be simply tightend up? Any ideas where best to get some new ones from?

I can't notice anything when driving the van and it does not seem to be making any noise?

My front left wheel was making all sorts of clunking noises and squeaks until a few days ago. There was also a lot of play. I simply tightened up the central nut and haven't had any problems since. I hope it stays that way.
I did unfortunately screw up the speedo. It's not working now and I'm not sure how to fix it.

It won't make any noise, maybe a bit of a drone when cornering - they're pretty tough but if the hub itself or the drive flange wears bady (unusual but believe it can) then more trouble.

GSF - £25 for both bearings and both seals

Difficulty depends on your expereince and skills, and tools.

Need the 46mm socket and pudlock or EMPI tool

22mm socket to get bearing housing/carrier off
Drifts, LM or HighTemp bearing grease, a good anvil is handy

Not a 5 minute job but quite doable

First though, check the play yourself, see if its of the in-out variety (described in first link) or rocking. Consider rear brake service at same time. Read about and take care with backplate removal.
