As title. I have the chance of a late slider handle. Does it fit an early van? I will need to change the lock from the early van handle to the new one. Will this work? Thanks for reading

IIRC late will fit early but not vice-versa

you can fit the late handle , but you will either need to add a washer to the square bar or file about 1mm from the end of the handle where it returns towards the door at the end.

they fit ok but rub the door not enough to stop it working , but just enough to rub the paint off!

Thanks for that Billy. Just got to remove the lock first.

vw sell washers that fit over the square bar. one is supposed to be there so you could fit more than one
