When I lived on London I used to look forward to the drive down the M3 and A303 to Devon in August. I think its the way the landscape unfolds as you make your way, and the sense of history. A key landmark is the pig farm on the left when you get to Wiltshire (I like pigs). Say hello to them for me !

^^^^^^^^ WHS I was born in N Devon and lived in London and the home counties for a lot of years. Driving down the A303 was kind of therapeutic in itself after several months in the smoke.

That breakers yard was the maddest thing I've seen for a while

Got to make a small detour en-route tomorrow via Trailer-Tek at SO21 3AS to pick up some lashing eyes* they're only a mile off the A303 just after J8.
*to secure the load that I will already be carrying...

Not going to be able to make it now after all....
Work has been pushed forward a few days so its wiped the weekend out completely. Boooooo
Have a great time (you cant fail to be fair) i really miss Devon lanes!

Anyone bringing a lathe?!! Not the kind of thing you would pack in I know....!
I need the middle of some spacers machining a couple of mm to fit my front hubs. Got the rears on but the front are different.
Guess it can wait till after the weekend.
