no need to reinvent the wheel

Its just a junction box with a relay for the carb heaters.
As said theres a complete diagram in bently
And haynes has one too.

I opened mine once out of curiosity ,bearing in mind me and electrics don't get on I nodded thoughtfully, made the noise mechanics make when somethings gonna cost a fortune and carefully replaced it and tried not to think about it !

NO! Don't open that black box. The elves are in there. Let them out and all sorts of things will go wrong.
