I have a 83 t25, i had a new door repair panel welded on today. when we replaced the door i found there is a lot of movement down the very bottom under the handle. should there be a bearing to help it glide , and if so where can i get one. many thanks jen.

Yes, there should be two bearings down there, a horizontal one and a vertical one.
I think that, being an 83, yours should have the early type rollers and support arm.
The later type has different bearings so it may be easier to get an entire second hand arm off a later van, as some of the early-type rollers are hard to find.

bet you lost a roller when you changed the door out, carefull as it can just open onto the pavement if the wrong one is missisng .failing that have a look at the top nylon block i think on your age, will the door lift up and allow this block to fit higher into the top channel? is so then you need to loosen of the 3 bolts that secure the bottom roller to the door and lift the door and move the roller plate downwards and tighten back up

Hi all, just been out in my new camper, I managed to open the sliding door a little to far and the whole thing fell off I'm srue this shouldt happenany idea whats missing or how I can stopnthis happening again? Its a 84 devon sunrise.

Mine did this. The way I stopped it was to retro-fit s small rubber block about 2"x1" on the bottom track as the rear lower area- it was fitted to late vane but not early ones I think. For some reason the early buffer set up does not seem as efficient as the late one. Ill post a pic of two up when we go out to the van later.
